Salt Lake HRO Attorney Wins Humanitarian Award

Salt Lake City, UT, February 23, 2010 – On March 12th, 2010, at Salt Lake City’s Grand America Hotel, Jay D. Gurmankin, Holme Roberts & Owen LLP Special Counsel, will receive the Inclusion Center for Community and Justice’s Humanitarian Award for his service to the community. Mr. Gurmankin’s humanitarian efforts range from providing free legal services for low-income families to his long-standing commitment to, and advocacy and fundraising efforts for, the National Multiple Sclerosis Society-Utah Chapter. Mr. Gurmankin joined HRO in 2001 and specializes in antitrust, securities, contract, commercial transaction, hazardous waste, and real estate litigation.
Established in 1967, the Inclusion Center for Community and Justice’s Humanitarian Awards Dinner is Utah’s longest standing charitable event which highlights community members and agencies that demonstrate a passion and dedication for building inclusive communities. The Annual Humanitarian Awards Dinner is the Inclusion Center’s largest fundraiser. Each spring, the organization honors distinguished local citizens who best exemplify its goals of fostering inclusion and compassion to better the lives of individuals.
