“HRO is delighted to sponsor Sportaccord 2009, and we would like to extend a warm welcome to all those attending this year’s annual convention. As a law firm with a broad worldwide experience in sports law, it is only natural that we would want to be involved in Sportaccord, especially given that this year’s host city is our own home city of Denver. Sportaccord is the premier sports networking event in the world. My colleagues and I at HRO look forward to a packed program of conference events and the opportunity to meet once again with all our friends and contacts in the Sportaccord community.”

As one of the nation’s leading professional sports and entertainment law firms, HRO has many decades of experience representing sport teams and leagues, international federations and national governing bodies, colleges, universities, facility owners, commercial sponsors and conferences in the complex and constantly evolving area of sports law. The firm is also a leader in the provision of legal advice in relation to sports facility finance, arena naming rights, television broadcasting and professional sports sponsorship, and commercialization projects. HRO has also handled a number of high-profile litigation matters for our sports clients, involving a wide range of issues, including anti-trust, athlete eligibility, breach of contract, and general commercial litigation, more recently representing the United States Anti-Doping Agency in its case against cyclist Floyd Landis.
