HRO Munich Senior Associate Achieves Partner Status

Denver, Colorado, January 5, 2010 – The Munich, Germany office of Holme Roberts & Owen (HRO) has named Dr. Ulrich Fülbier partner, effective January 1, 2010. Dr. Fülbier, formerly an HRO senior associate, specializes in Employment/Labor, Intellectual Property and Litigation, and is also experienced in licensing and distribution issues, unfair competition, press and media law, and sports law.
Prior to joining HRO Munich in May 2005, Dr. Fülbier worked in the Hong Kong, Cologne, and Freiburg offices of other German firms. He also served as an in-house entertainment and media attorney for a large television production company in Hamburg.
Dr. Fülbier graduated from the University of Cologne and attained a PhD in Comparative International Constitutional Law. As a holder of a prestigious DAAD (German Academic Exchange Service) scholarship, he was a 1997 Columbia University School of Law Visiting Scholar. His doctoral dissertation, a comparative analysis of freedom of religion under German and U.S. constitutional law, garnered significant attention from both German and U.S. legal scholars.
