Holme Roberts & Owen Welcomes Seasoned Los Angeles Attorneys

Denver, Colorado, October 26, 2009 – Holme Roberts & Owen LLP (HRO) is pleased to welcome Partners Carol Osborne and Emily J. Yukich and Associate Stefani Delli Quadri Thomas to its Los Angeles office. Ms. Osborne, Ms. Yukich, and Ms. Thomas will join the firm’s Commercial Law and Securities group from Folger Levin & Kahn LLP (FLK) on November 2, 2009. Ms. Osborne and Ms. Yukich have worked together since 2000 and have jointly developed a dynamic and well-regarded corporate practice. Delia K. Swan, Esq., of Swan Legal Search placed Ms. Osborne and Ms. Yukich.
Ms. Osborne has a complex transactional practice that includes mergers and acquisitions, reorganizations and divestitures, commercial real estate development and leasing, financing and securities matters, and corporate governance for public and private companies.
Ms. Osborne joined FLK’s San Francisco office as an associate in 1991 after beginning her career with Pettit & Martin. In 1996, she relocated to Guam and practiced with Blair Sterling Johnson Martinez & Leon Guerrero PLC for three years. She rejoined FLK in 1999 with a mandate to build a corporate practice in Los Angeles and became a partner in 2001. In 2006, she became General Counsel to LECG Corporation, a publicly-traded expert services and consulting firm and later served in a business role as Managing Director of FAS Operations. Ms. Osborne returned to FLK in February 2009 and served as chair of the firm's business development committee. She holds a J.D. cum laude from Georgetown University Law Center.
Ms. Yukich’s practice also focuses on complex transactional and business counseling matters, including business formation, commercial transactions, mergers and acquisitions, real estate matters, financing and securities matters, trademark and other intellectual property issues, and corporate governance matters. She has also developed a particular expertise in clean technology with an emphasis on emerging companies.
As an FLK partner, Ms. Yukich was a member of the business department and the Recruiting Committee. Prior to joining FLK, she clerked for Judge George H. King, United States District Court, Central District of California. Ms. Yukich earned her J.D. from the University of Southern California.
Stefani Delli Quadri Thomas practices in the areas of business formation, commercial transactions, mergers and acquisitions and real estate matters. She joined FLK in 2006 after earning her J.D. from the U.C. Berkeley Boalt Hall School of Law.
