- HRO Named Top Colorado Company by ColoradoBiz Magazine
ColoradoBiz magazine named Holme Roberts & Owen LLP (HRO) the 2009 Top Colorado Company in the legal category. HRO joins a prestigious Who’s-Who list of Colorado’s most notable businesses.
Now in its 22nd year, Top Company Awards added new energy and legal categories to the existing nine categories, and HRO is a first-time winner in the legal sector. “The roster of Top Company awards finalists again reflects the quality of businesses operating at the forefront of our economy in Colorado. Even in what has become an historic economic downturn, businesses are finding a way to sustain profits through operational excellence, innovation, and hard work,” said Bart Taylor, Publisher of ColoradoBiz.
The primary criteria for Top Company awards are sustained financial excellence, community involvement, and operational excellence in one or more functional business areas. A panel of judges made up of business and civic leaders convenes to vote on winners in each category. Judging takes place in mid-August and winners were announced at an awards luncheon on September 15.
