Garry has specialised in Commercial and Real Estate disputes since qualification and prior to joining HRO Grant Dawe LLP he was a partner and subsequently consultant to City law firm, Taylor Wessing.

General Commercial
  • Advising PLC in contract dispute over substantial claim in relation to supply of fruit produce from South America
  • Acting for publicly owned joint venture company in shareholder dispute with co-shareholder
  • Advising individual on defence of a claim against UK assets following US judgment
  • Advising UK carbon credit trading company on attempted repudiation of sale/purchase agreement by foreign counterparty
  • Advising US company on enforcement of claim against Chinese state owned company under software maintenance agreement subject to ICC arbitration
  • Advising PLC on its claim against guarantors under business asset sale
  • Advising on employee fraud claim for international bank, involving asset freezing and tracing claims
  • Acting for major European bank on claims arising from barter agreement/letters of credit
  • Acting for city brokers on challenge to local authority swaps deals
  • Acting for major building society on multiple professional negligence claims arising from lending transactions
  • Co-ordinating UK owned steel makers' defence of fatal accident claims in US after factory explosion 
  • Acting for French co-operative in shareholder dispute in relation to English food processing company
