Experience
Christine McAuliffe, a partner in the Intellectual Property, Technology and Media Practice Group, joined HRO’s Phoenix office in 2008. Ms. McAuliffe is a registered patent attorney who practices in the areas of patent, trademark and copyright law. Her experience includes:
- Patent prosecution
- Patent validity and infringement opinions
- Patent litigation
- Trademark and copyright registration and protection
- Trademark, trade dress and copyright litigation
- Counseling on technology and intellectual property acquisition and transfer, joint ventures and strategic alliances, including intellectual property due diligence
- Preparation and negotiation of assignments, licenses and other technology agreements such as technology transfer, sponsored research, and technology development agreements
- Intellectual Property portfolio development, management and assessment
Prior to joining HRO, Ms. McAuliffe was Co-Chair of the Biotechnology & Life Sciences Industry Group at Jennings, Strouss & Salmon. She has a biotechnology and science background, having earned a B.S. in Biology, with an emphasis in Genetics and Molecular Biology. She also has technical knowledge in cell biology, biochemistry and organic chemistry.
