Experience

Joseph Tippetts is a senior associate in the Commercial Law & Securities Practice Group and joined HRO in 2004. His practice focuses on the energy and natural resource industries, including renewable energy sources, oil and gas E&P and mining operations. He has assisted clients in a breadth of transactions ranging from acquisitions, financing and project development to operations and regulatory compliance. He regularly analyzes complex legal issues and risk mitigation measures and drafts and negotiates key transactional documents. He also has represented clients in administrative and court proceedings, including the Interior Board of Land Appeals and state regulatory commissions. He has particular experience in public lands issues and policy making.
